IT SHALL COME AGAIN

Do you remember your very first kiss
Walking around in an eternal state of bliss
Feeling something had changed as you walked above the ground
It was like you were the princess who had just been crowned
That moment in life when you could feel every embrace
Even days later, there was still that faint trace
Perhaps over time, your new love might not remain
Your heart might have been broken, when at first you felt the pain
Perhaps the first love was a like a play's opening scene
It allows us to participate in an emotional dream
Once we have allowed our emotions to be expressed
We quickly learn that there are other feelings to address
The door has been opened, we see a new world to explore
We start to learn that we may allow others to open that door
Each time we start to feel that emotional glow
Understand that this is the beginning of how our feelings grow
Look not to the future or dwell on the past
You will find peace and a love that will last
Do not seek emotional bliss in haste or in need
Love flourishes from growth as the flower from seed
